Construction start
The construction of the biorefinery is expected to start in the beginning of 2014.
The biorefinery will be placed on the north harbour of Grenaa, Denmark, which has been expanded in order to make room for the biorefinery. This means that Hveiti now has a 115,000 m2 harbour area at its disposal.
Most of the buyers for the different products produced by the biorefinery are in place, and as soon as the final investors have been found, the construction work will begin. If everything goes as planned, we start building in the beginning of 2014. After this it will take around 20-22 months, including a test period, before the production is up and running.
