Q&A on biofuels and ILUC
T&E has issued a briefing on the indirect land use change (ILUC) effects of biofuels and why the EU needs to tackle the problem.
Transport & Environment (T&E) – an independent pan-European association with scientific and educational aims - has issued a briefing for October 2011, which examines the problems of ILUC and provides answers on how to cope with this at EU level.
Furthermore, the briefing looks at what is a stake, whether there is consensus that ILUC is a problem, and whether biofuels are unfairly targeted.
