Securing an effective response to ILUC – letter to Commissioners
Read the attached letter “RE: Securing an effective response to Indirect Land Use Change (ILUC) debate in EU biofuels policy” written by a number of large corporations to nine EU Commissioners.
The group of companies, NGO’s and trade organisations believe that a practical and effective solution needs to be agreed to address the ongoing debate about ILUC in European Biofuels policy.
As they write, the lack of an effective resolution to the ILUC debate for biofuels is threatening investments and is undermining delivery towards the EU’s renewable energy ambitions.
